BPSC Registration 2019 For Assistant Engineer has started from Today. BPSC has released the online applications for the posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil and Mechanical). All interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official website of BPSC, i.e. bpsc.bih.nic.in. It is to note that the last date to apply for the assistant engineer posts is September 26, 2019. The BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) was formed on April 1, 1949 after its separation from the Commissions of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh States. The Commission started its functioning from Ranchi which was shifted to Patna on March 1, 1951. In order to apply for the BPSC 2019 Recruitment Process for Assistant Engineer posts, candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Click on the apply online link that will flash on the homepage
• Then click on the BPSC application link

BPSC Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria & Selection Process

In order to apply for the Assistant Engineer Posts, candidates need to have a degree in the respective subject as mentioned in the official website. In addition, Candidates will be selected based on the candidates’ performance in written test and interview. The age limit for the Assistant Engineer Post for various category is as follows: 

• Minimum 21 years
• Maximum Age for General (Male) 37 years
• Maximum Age for General (Female) 40 years
• Maximum Age for SC/ST (Female/Male) 42 years
• Maximum Age for OBC/BC (Female/Male) 40 years

The number of vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) and Assistant Engineer (Civil) is 10 and 18 respectively.
