New Delhi:

Holi, the festival of colours, brings tremendous joy, energy and colours into your life. What it brings along is a little worry about your adorable skin.

Here are some useful tips on how to save your skin and hair this Holi:

Holi means coming out from your home and exposing yourself to sun while you have a splash! Make sure you apply a good waterproof sunscreen nicely in order to protect your skin from the sun.

Skin-friendly natural colours are easily available in market these days. One can even go for flowers and homemade colours. Such colours do not harm the skin.

Before heading on to play Holi, apply moisturiser or oil all over your body. This makes your skin slippery and prevents the colours to stick to your skin.

Apply nailpaint on your nails before playing Holi. The coating of nailpaint prevents your nails from harmful colours.

Apply oil on your hair, it prevents them from the affect of colours.

Though the aforementioned tips provide you maximum protection from colours but still if the colours don’t come off, never rub or scrub your face. Apply a good facefash and massage gently to remove the colour. Pat dry with a clean towel.
