3 charred to death after ambulance bursts into flames in Greater Noida

Greater Noida:

Three people were charred to death and two suffered serious injuries after an ambulance in which they were travelling in caught fire after hitting a speeding truck in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police said that the accident occurred around 2:10 am. “During investigation, we learnt that a 18-tyre truck tried to take a steep turn hit the ambulance. Soon after the hit the ambulance was on fire,” said a senior police officer.

Till the time report was filed, police had yet not identified the three persons who died in the accident.

The two persons injured in the incident told the police that they had taken lift from the ambulance and were not acquainted with the remaining three killed.
