Industrialist Vijay Mallya lashed out at political parties and Indian media for targeting him.

The businessman , who is wanted in Rs 9000 creore bank default, took on political parties, saying that he has become political football between two major Indian political parties during polls. He was apparently referring to BJP and Congress.

“Have become a political football between the two major Indian parties which is evident by the rhetoric in the election speeches, “said Mallya.

He expressed his doubt that these political parties have any evidence against him and dared them to put in public domain.

“Let them come with whatever evidence they have but I doubt if they have any evidence and then let law take its own course,”he said.

Earlier in the day, Mallya also attacked media on Twitter for not sharing pride that the nation entered into Formula 1 instead targeting him.

“Very unfortunate that Indian media do not share pride that an Indian entry into Formula 1 is so successful. Only focussed on blasting me,” he tweeted.

Mallya was seen at an event in UK promoting a new Formula One car launched by his team Sahara Force India.

A relaxed Mallya, looking dapper in a suit, was seen with his two  rivers Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon in a photograph uploaded by official Formula One website (www.formula1.com).
