New Delhi:

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi on Tuesday (September 18) with complaints of fever and problems in his eyes and knees. Kumar was admitted to the private ward of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) around 8.30 am.

The exact diagnosis is yet to be known, a source told News Agency PTI.

The chief minister was admitted to the hospital with complaints of fever and problems in his eyes and knees. The exact diagnosis is yet to be known, the source said

On Saturday, Nitish Kumar had said that an "honourable agreement" was reached between Janata Dal United (JD-U) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regarding the seat-sharing formula.

"Honourable agreement has been reached with the BJP on seat sharing. A formal announcement will be made later," the Bihar chief minister had said in Patna.

The JD-U had earlier expressed their dissent over the BJP's first draft of seat-sharing formula as the saffron party wanted to contest on 20 of the 40 Bihar seats and Nitish Kumar wanted equal distribution of 17 seats each handing the remaining six to Ram Vilas Paswan.

In 2014, both the BJP and the JD-U had fought the elections separately with the saffron party winning 22 seats and the NDA 31. The JD-U had only managed to win two seats.
