New Delhi:
In a tragic incident, a boat carrying more than 30 people capsized on Sunday in Bagmati river of Samastipur district of Bihar. Three bodies were recovered while 8 people have been rescued with the help of local people.
The survivors are being treated at the primary health centre.
As per initial reports, 24 people are believed to have drowned in the incident. Â The district administration has launched rescue operations and officials have rushed to the spot.
It is said that a few villagers were going to bring fodder and others were going to field for work.Â
