Actor turned politician Bihar BJP leader Baban Yadav has been arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a woman secretary of the Buddha Society Foundation in Bihar’s capital Patna on Wednesday.
A resident of Digha area of Patna, the woman accused Yadav of sexual harassment and torture and lodged a complaint in the Digha police station. The lady works in Baban Yadav’s Buddha Foundation and the primary role of the institute is to aware women.

The woman in her complaint has alleged that for the past one and half years, the BJP leader sexually exploited her and physically attacked her at her residence on August 14.

Meanwhile, the police has arrested Baban Yadav from his residence in Lali Tola and have sent him to jail following a long interrogation.
On his defense, the BJP leader said that they both had an argument after which the woman decided to put false allegations to defame him.
