This is the first meeting of the BJP Parliamentary party during the Monsoon session and expected to discuss several key issues like the Triple Talaq Bill, OBC Commission Bill and the Assam NRC, the new political debate across India.
The meeting will also give light to the controversial provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act as the Lok Jansjhakti Party, the key BJP ally in Bihar has called a nation-wide strike on August 9 seeking the Centre's response regarding the same.
Earlier, Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan's son Chirag hinted a massive protest all over the country in case a new Bill or Ordnance is not made to strengthen the provisions of the SC/ST Act that was passed in 1989.
