Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday voiced his support for the #MeToo movement nad said, "It's about time everyone learns to treat women with respect and dignity. I’m glad the space for those who don't, is closing. The truth needs to be told loud and clear in order to bring about change. (sic)"

The #MeToo movement gained momentum last year in Hollywood after various stories about decades-long predation of movie producer Harvey Weinstein came to the fore. In India, it gathered pace after actor Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of harassing her on the sets of the 2008-film Horn ‘OK’ Please!!!
