Lucknow DM asks all schools to extend timings from April 30 in view of rising temperature

New Delhi:

The Lucknow District Magistrate directed all government and private school to extend timings in view of the rising temperature. From April 30, classes till Class 10 will be conducted from 7.30 am to 12 pm, classes of 11 and 12 can be conducted till 1 pm. 

The national capital and Uttar Pradesh capital reeled under scorching heat on Sunday, with the maximum temperature recorded at 42 degrees Celsius, officials said.

Humidity levels oscillated between 44 and 19 per cent. The MeT office has forecast clear sky and strong surface wind for Sunday.
