6.30 pm: Defence PRO: 3000 army personnel deployed for flood relief & rescue operations in 15 districts of the 4 affected states. A total of approximately 35,000 persons have been rescued /evacuated in these states.

5.30 pm: Chandigarh: Elante Mall evacuated following a hoax call regarding bomb threat; SP (crime) Vineet Kumar says, "a PCR call was received at 1:06 pm today regarding information about bomb in the mall. We evacuated the mall, conducted a thorough search & santization operation."
