New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Biarritz, an elegant seaside town on southwest France’s Basque coast, to attend the G7 Summit at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. Jammu and Kashmir is likely to appear in his talks with the world leaders. Meanwhile, last rites of former finance minister Arun Jaitley, who died at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Saturday, will be performed on Sunday at the Nigambodh Ghat.

4.45 pm: Karnataka: South Western Railway: Train services on Sakleshpur-Subramanya Road Ghat section have been restored, from today. Services on the section were suspended due to landslides & soil erosion under rail tracks at several locations on the 55-kilometer stretch, due to rainfall.

4.30 pm: Indian Air Force Chief & Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee BS Dhanoa will visit Thailand to attend the 2019 Indo Pacific Chiefs of Defence (CHOD) Conference in Bangkok, from August 26. Chiefs of Defence of more than 33 countries are scheduled to attend the Conference.
