New Delhi:

India is celebrating its 69th Republic on January 26 with much fervour. This year was quite special for India as Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited 10 leaders from ASEAN countries as special guests for the celebrations.

It was also a matter of pride for North-east as for the first time ever an all-woman biker contingent of Border Security Force took the centre stage and performed at Rajpath.

The biker contingent consisting of 106 women had riders from three key north-eastern states Manipur, Assam and Meghalaya.
