In a Burari-like incident, six members of a family were found dead inside their house in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh on Sunday.
According to the initial reports, two of the members were found hanging, while three were attacked with sharp-edged weapon and one jumped off the terrace.
Although the police investigation was still underway, several reports suggested that the family was under huge amount of debt and were not being able to pay that back.
Earlier on July 1, 11 members of a family in Delhi’s Burari were found dead inside their house. While 10 of them were found hanging with eyes covered, mouth gagged and hands tied to their back, an elderly lady was lying in another room.
The post-mortem report revealed that the family died of hanging without the struggle. The police investigation suggested towards the mystical angle and claimed that the family committed the “mass suicide” in an act of thanksgiving to God.
