Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is leaving no stone unturned to woo young voters of the state ahead of the elections later this year. The Chief Minister is apparently on sops distributing spree. After making an announcement regarding the distribution of 14 million smartphones, he is now distributing cars. According to reports, Naidu distributed 30 Maruti Suzuki Dzire cars to unemployed Brahmin youth.  

As per the reports, Chandrababu Naidu distributed 30 Swift Dzire cars to unemployed Brahmin youth. For the first time in the country an exclusive corporation was set up for the welfare of Brahmins, the Chief Minister was quoted as saying by a TOI report.

The youth who received the cars will have to bear 10 per cent of the cost of the vehicle and rest of the amount will be paid by the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Cooperative Credit Society, which was set up in December 2014 and so for Rs 285 crore has been allocated to it. Earlier, the chief minister had distributed 16 cars to Kapu community youth under skill development and self-employment schemes. 

Meanwhile, the Centre has given clearance to a delegation proposed by Naidu for participation at the upcoming World Economic Forum meet in Switzerland's Davos. Earlier sources in the Andhra Pradesh government claimed that the Centre had asked them to prune the size of the delegation to be led by Naidu.
