New Delhi:
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday called meet South superstar Kamal Haasan amid speculations that the latter may join politics.
After the meeting, the actor expressed happiness over his meeting with the chief minister of Delhi.
“I am very happy that he (Arvind Kejriwal) is here, have discussed issues including corruption,” Haasan said.
Kejriwal also expressed his desire saying the actor should join politics.
“Had an excellent meeting, we exchanged our ideas. He (Kamal Haasan) should enter into politics,” Kejriwal said.

Earlier, the Delhi Chief Minister was received at the airport by Haasan's younger daughter Akshara. Kejriwal met the actor at his office in Alwarpet.
Haasan has been critical of the AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu over various issues, including corruption, triggering sharp condemnation from some state ministers.
He recently called on Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thiruvananthapuram.
