Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday stressed on the present suitable conditions for the building of Ram temple said ‘construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya is “our” resolve”’.
While addressing a gathering of people, after unveiling a 52-feet tall statue of Maharaja Chhatrasal at Mausahaniya in Madhya Pradesh, Bhagwat said, “Construction of a Ram temple (in Ayodhya) is not just a desire but it is our resolve.”
Observing that the present circumstances are suitable for the construction of the temple, Bhagwat said those who wanted to build the Ram temple would need to follow in footsteps of Lord Ram.
Bhagwat termed Maharaja Chhatrasal as valiant and said he was a brave warrior who defeated his enemies with the help of small number of soldiers.
Bhagwat also recalled the association of Maharaja Chhatrasal with Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji.

Chhatrasal was a medieval Indian warrior from the Bundela clan who fought against the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and established his own kingdom in Bundelkhand, becoming the founder of Panna State.
Earlier in the Ram mandir-Babri masjid issue, spiritual guru and founder of Art of Living (Aol), Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, had met the ex-member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) Maulana Salman Nadvi, to discuss and stress on ‘harmonious co-existence of both communities’.
The Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid issue is a century old war between the Hindus and Muslims over a piece of land in Ayodhya, which both communities claimed as their own religion’s.
The Hindus claimed the land as Lord Ram’s birthplace, while the Muslims wanted to rebuild a demolished Babri Masjid. The Hindu Karsevaks in Ayodhya had demolished the Babri Masjid saying that the land is meant for Ram temple, which resulted in massive riots across the country on December 6, 1992.
