Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday said if the people would ask to make changes in Goods and Services Tax (GST) or its structure, his party will do so if voted to power in the country.
"If you ask us to make changes in GST or its structure, I assure you that the day we come to power in the country we'll change it," Rahul Gandhi said.
While addressing a poll rally in Surat, Rahul said Congress party will bring a GST that would benefit the people of this country. He said the Congress party will hear the voice of the general public.

Earlier in the day, Rahul Gandhi invoked Mahabharat, saying his party is likened to triumphant Pandavas who would vanquish the Kauravas of the BJP in the battle between "truth and falsehood" in the Gujarat Assembly elections.
