Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Singh serving jail term in Sunaria jail in Haryana’s Rohtak wishes to speak to his close confidante and adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan.
According to sources in the Haryana Prison department the Dera chief has provided Honeypreet’s mobile number to jail staff and showed his eagerness to have a conversation and be in touch with his adopted daughter.
Haryana DGP (prisons) K P Singh said, “Gurmeet Singh has provided jail officials with two numbers. Both the numbers have been provided to the police for verification”
The DGP denied to detail further information about the provided mobile numbers including the names.
A senior Haryana Prison official said that one of the number provided is of Honeypreet and the other number provided him is the one he had before leaving Dera premises on August 25.

The official added that Gurmeet Singh is unaware of the fact that his adopted daughter Honeypreet is in the most wanted list of people for inciting August 25 violence in Panchkula.
Haryana Police have booked Honeypreet Insan at at Sector 5 police station in Panchkula for allegedly inciting violence following the conviction of Gurmeet Singh at Haryana’s Panchkula.
