New Delhi:
A Bharatiya Janata Party minister from Haryana, Anil Vij, who is notorious for his out of context remarks, on Tuesday went a step ahead and called Congress president Rahul Gandhi ‘Nipah Virus’.
Reacting to the Congress-JD-S coalition in Karnataka, Vij said that whichever party comes in contact with Gandhi, it will be finished.
“Rahul Gandhi is similar to Nipah Virus, whichever Party he comes in contact with, that Party will be finished. They (parties) are trying to come together (in alliance) but they will be finished off, ANI quoted the Haryana Minister as saying.
This was not the first time Vij has given a controversial statement. Earlier in May, Vij had reportedly said that Nehru and Gandhi did not bear even a single stick for India’s freedom and people like Bhagat Singh and Lala Lajpat Rai made the supreme sacrifice for the country.
