New Delhi:

Crime against women in India is another form of sickness that is not finding its way to stop in any way. After celebrating Women's day on March 8 and appreciating their achievements this is what a school principal has done to a class 10 student on the pretext of helping her clear her class X board exams.

A class 10 student was allegedly raped by school principal after promising that he would help the girl to clear her board exams.  The principal, who is also the owner of the school on the outskirts of Gohana town in Sonipat, made a dummy student write her physical education paper on Tuesday while he raped the girl in a nearby house.

Police officials booked the principal and two women under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act on Tuesday night. The women were booked for criminal conspiracy as the rape took place in their house. All three are absconding since Tuesday night.

Going into Details “On March 8, the principal called father and his daughter to a school on the outskirts of Gohana. The principal then asked father to leave and daughter at his relative’s place. He said another girl would write your daughter’s exam,” The Times of India quoted the student’s father as saying. He was supposed to pick up his daughter from the scheduled place after the exam was over.

When the victim’s father came to pick her, she told him about the sexual assault. Her father also added that while he was talking to his daughter, the accused and the two women escaped the house.

A case has been registered on the complaint of the girl's father. The father was ready to pay Rs 10,000 to the principal as part of the deal to help his daughter clear the exams.

"Soon after recording the statement of the survivor, we registered a case and a team of counselors were asked to help the girl," Deswal said.
