Kolkata: GoAir flight with 165 passengers onboard grounded after technical glitch

New Delhi:

A Delhi-bound GoAir flight with 165 passengers onboard grounded on Friday at Kolkata airport after it failed to take off twice due to some technical glitch. 

The Kolkata-Delhi GoAir flight G8-128 returned from the runway after the problem was observed by the technical staff. 

The repairing of the aircraft is underway and passengers have been accommodated in different flights. 

Later in the day, the airline issued a statement stating the cause of the delay and possible departure of the stranded flight.

 
"Aircraft is currently undergoing component replacement and expected departure of flight is now 1pm," ANI quoted GoAir as saying.
