News Nation Opinion Poll: BJP to get maximum votes in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections in Jammu and Kashmir

What if Lok Sabha elections were held today in Jammu and Kashmir? Who will be the top choice for Prime Minister's post in the state? Are National Conference and PDP still relevant in the state? To answer these questions, News Nation channel has conducted an opinion poll in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Through this opinion poll, we asked several questions from the people of the state and tried to find out who has the better chance in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the state. 

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP won 3 seats in the state. The PDP also won 3 seats. The National Conference was not able to open its account in the state and the Congress also drew a blank. In the 2014 Assembly polls, the PDP had won 28 seats and emerged as the single largest party. The BJP also performed well in the elections and won 25 seats. Later, both the parties came together to form the government in the state.

6:32 pm: Which party can solve your problems in a better way?

Congress: 24%, BJP: 28%, National Conference: 20%, PDP: 11%, Others: 5%, Can't Say: 12%.

6:30 pm: What will be the main issue during the 2019 general elections?

Employment: 30%, Inflation: 17%, Article 370: 11%, Basic Infrastructure: 10%, Stable Government: 8%, Corruption: 6%, Terrorism: 5%, Kathua Rape Case: 4%, Other Issues: 7%, Can't Say: 2%.

6:28 pm: The BJP won 25 seats in the 2014 Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

6:27 pm: The PDP emerged as the single largest party in the 2014 Assembly elections with 28 seats. 

6:25 pm: The PDP had won Baramulla, Srinagar and Anantnag seats in 2014.

6:24 pm: The BJP had won Jammu, Udhampur and Ladakh seats in 2014.

6:23 pm: In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the PDP had also won 3 parliamentary seats.

6:22 pm: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP had won 3 parliamentary seats.

6:11 pm: Congress is likely to get 23 per cent votes in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

6:10 pm: BJP is projected to get 26 per cent votes in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

6:05 pm: BJP is likely to win 2 Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
