Superstar Rajinikanth on Monday inaugurated a statue of the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MG Ramachandran at MGR Educational and Research Institute located in the outskirts of Chennai city.

Hundreds of people welcomed their favourite actor as he arrived at the university in an Audi. Rajinikanth while entering the university campus waved back to his fans through the car’s sunroof.

Rajinikanth will soon address to the students and at least 5000 people gathered at the university auditorium.

According to political pundits, a huge crowd has gathered both outside and inside the MGR Educational and Research Institute as it will be the superstars first address to people after he announced his decision to enter politics last year.
