The Supreme Court will today hear the plea of 15 rebel Karnataka MLAs of ruling coalition against the delay by Assembly Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar in accepting their resignations. Meanwhile, a partial lunar eclipse will take place today and it will be visible in South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, according to NASA, which has listed out all eclipses till 2100. The partial lunar eclipse will also be visible in parts of India.

3:00 pm: Delhi HC grants parole to Former Haryana CM OP Chautala for 1 week. Chautala had sought a parole for 4 weeks to attend his grandson Arjun's engagement ceremony on 18 July. He was granted parole on a personal bond & surety bond of Rs 50,000 with two sureties of the same amount.
