Both the Houses of Parliament will take up the Motion of Thanks on the President's address today. President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the joint sitting of both Houses on the 20th of this month. The Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) Bill, 2019 is scheduled to be introduced in Lok Sabha today. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs will meet today. After 21 days of extensive search, the Indian Navy finally located the PNS Saad on the western side of Pakistan. It was sent there for hiding to ensure a covert capability in case of extension in hostilities in the aftermath of the Balakot airstrikes.

6.48 am: Maqsood Alam, a relative of Tabrez, said, "They thrashed him and later gave him to police. He was suspected of theft but it was a communal attack. He was beaten because he had a Muslim name. They made him chant 'Jai Shri Ram' & 'Jai Hanuman' again & again. I demand the culprits be arrested."

6.45 am: 22-yr-old Tabrez who was beaten up by locals in Jharkhand's Saraikela Kharsawan on suspicion of theft and was later arrested, died at a hospital on Sunday. He was admitted to Sadar hospital in the morning and later referred to Tata Main Hospital Jamshedpur.
