President Donald Trump will meet an array of world leaders on the sidelines of this week’s G20 summit in Japan, including China’s Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin, a US official said Monday.

11.00 pm: Congress Parliamentary Party meeting tomorrow at Parliament. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, K Suresh, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Ahmad Patel,   Gulam Nabi Azad will be there. They will discuss about floor management.

9.45 pm: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reply to the 'Motion Of Thanks On the President's Address', in Rajya Sabha tomorrow.

2.22 pm: Andhra Pradesh government reduces security provided to the family members of former CM N. Chandrababu Naidu. His son & former state minister Nara Lokesh will now be provided 2+2 gunmen, earlier he had Z category security, Security for other family members is fully withdrawn.

2.15 pm: FIR lodged against 39 people in Harivanshpur, Muzaffarpur after they protested over lack of water supply & death of several children due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) in the area.

2 pm: Sachin Pilot, Rajasthan Dy CM: Matter is under investigation.Incident (farmer suicide) is regrettable. From whatever info I have received so far, the person was not actually under debt. Govt of Rajasthan is fully committed in securing a better future for the framers in the state.

11.40 am: Mumbai Police has arrested a man, Sudam Shinde, who had attempted suicide inside BMC Headquarters, yesterday. He has been arrested under Section 353 of IPC (Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty).

11.31 am: Decision to adjourn RS only till 2 pm following demise of MP Madan Lal Saini, was taken this morning at a meeting of leaders of about 15 parties chaired by Chairman, to enable conclusion of discussion on Motion of Thanks so PM can reply tomorrow before leaving for Japan.

11.30 am: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar meets CM Vijay Rupani at his residence in Gandhinagar. Dr S Jaishankar will file nomination for Rajya Sabha shortly.

11.23 am: TMC's winning candidate from Jadavpur, Mimi Chakraborty took oath as a member of Lok Sabha today.

11.20 am: Haryana Jail Minister KL Panwar on Ram Rahim's request for parole: Do not link it with elections, if we had such an intention we would have released him before Lok Sabha elections, government has no such intention.

10.15 am: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, former CM Vasundhara Raje, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and others pay last respects to Rajasthan BJP president, Madan Lal Saini, at BJP office in Jaipur. He passed away at AIIMS Delhi on Monday.

9.10 am: DCP S Girish, head of Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating IMA Jewels case: 41 kg jewellery, worth Rs 13 Crore, one pistol and 50 bullets & property documents have been found in Karnataka's Bengaluru. As many as 4 boxes of pledged jewellery have been found. The raids are underway. 

9 am: The death count due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome rises to 131 in Muzaffarpur. 111 deaths in SKMCH and 20 in Kejriwal Hospital.

8.50 am: United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to arrive in Delhi tonight. He is scheduled to meet External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar & Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow. EAM S Jaishankar will also host a dinner for Mike Pompeo. He is coming to India on a three-day visit.

8.45 am: West Bengal: 41 Bn SSB arrested a man, about 300 metres away from Indo-Nepal border and seized 200 gm brown sugar, Rs 1035 cash in Indian currency, Rs 9911 cash in Nepali currency & a two-wheeler from his possession. The man & recoveries were handed over to Naxalbari police.

8.40 am: A woman allegedly left her husband after 2 days of marriage arranged by middlemen in Jind. Husband says,"I had paid them ₹70,000, she stayed with me for 2 days &told me she had to go to Ludhiana for a 'jagran' so I took her to railway station from where she disappeared"
