New Delhi:
Lokendra Singh, BJP MLA was killed in a road accident on Wednesday in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.
Singh, who is also a member of the 16th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh, represents the Noorpur constituency under the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Singh died in a collision between his vehicle and a truck in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur. He was with two gunners when the incident took place. Both the gunners also lost their lives, along with the driver of the truck, who was also killed.

Born in Bijnor district, Singh assumed his office in March 2012 and preceded Sheo Nath Singh. Before being elected as an MLA, he used to work as an agriculturist.
