New Delhi:
National Students' Union of India (NSUI), a student wing of Congress on Saturday held “pakoda protest†against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remark over the creation of jobs.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi during an Interview to a private news channel had said that anyone earning Rs 200 by selling pakodas (Indian snack) can’t be called unemployed.
PM Modi’s statement was mocked by the main Opposition Congress, which said the Modi govt has failed to create jobs in the country.
The NSUI workers in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri prepared Pakoda’s by the roadside with a poster in the background reading “Pradhanmantri Pakoda Rojgar Yojna (Prime Minister’s Pakoda employment scheme)â€.
