Eyeing next year assembly polls, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday announced 33 percent reservation for women in all departments, except forest.
The chief minister also promised financial help for those students who had secured 75% in 12th or 85% in CBSE, last year or a year before that and want to pursue medical or engineering courses.
Chouhan said that his mission was to send each student to school.
"When I became CM, 43 Lakh children were out of schools. We started 'School Chale Hum' campaign, wanted to send every child to school," Chouhan said.
