New Delhi:

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, in an interview to a Pakistan TV channel, said, “Pakistan mein koi case Hafiz Saeed sahab ke khilaaf nahi hai (There is no case against Hafiz Saeed in Pakistan).”

Hafiz Saeed is listed on the NIA Most Wanted list for his role in the November 26, 2008, Mumbai terror attacks.

He is an internationally designated terrorist on whom the United States in 2012 announced a bounty of $10 million for planning and executing the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks in which 164 civilians including 6 American citizens were killed.

He is also believed to be behind 2006 Mumbai train bombings and the 2001 Indian Parliament attack.

“International community has offered evidence and if Pakistan PM feels that there is no substantial evidence against Hafiz Saeed then he should talk to the international community,” said Husain Haqqani, former High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka.
