PM Modi has worked for inclusive development: Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi

Alwar (Rajasthan):

Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked for inclusive development despite being a "victim of political intolerance".

Speaking at an event after laying the foundation stone of the first world-class educational institute for the poor, backward and minorities at the Kohrapipli village in Alwar district of Rajasthan, Naqvi said, “The prime minister has worked with commitment to "inclusive growth" without any discrimination and he did not allow vote bank politics to dominate "our determination for development.”

He said that it was a tough challenge to remove the "termite of corruption" and the "stains of failure", received as "legacy" from the Congress government at the Centre.

The central government has left no stone unturned to ensure affordable, accessible and quality education to all the needy, including minorities, Naqvi said at the event, according to a statement released by his office. The institute will become operational by 2020.

The Rajasthan government has given 15 acre of land in Kohrapipali village for the educational institute, he said.

World class skill development centre, educational facilities for primary and higher studies, Ayurveda and Unani science as well as sports facilities, will be established at the institute, he said.

"We have proposed 40 per cent reservation for girls in this institution," the minister said.
