Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archaeology in Greater Noida on Saturday. The institute is under the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and is located in Knowledge Park-II, Greater Noida. The PM also unveiled the statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on the campus of the institute. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and local BJP MP Mahesh Sharma were also present on the occasion.

Here are all the highlights:

13.40 pm: PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of 1320 MW thermal power plant in Khurja, Bulandshahr from Greater Noida. He also laid the foundation stone for 1320 MW power plant in Buxar, Bihar via video link.

13.38 pm: Earlier, Noida was known for various land scams. Today Noida is known for the new development opportunities. Noida is growing as a big hub for Make In India. Uttar Pradesh is changing, says PM Modi.

13.35 pm: Before 2014, there were just two mobile phone manufacturing factories in the country. Today approximately 125 factories are making mobile phones in the country, and of those 125, many are in Noida, says Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Greater Noida.

13.33 pm: We have achieved 'One Nation, One Grid'. We are now striving towards tapping solar energy to achieve 'One World, One Sun, One Grid', says PM Modi.

13.32 pm: There were only two factories where mobile phones were manufactured before 2014. Today, around 500 factories are making mobile phones in the country. A large number of factories are in Noida, says PM.

13.28 pm: To improve connectivity from here, the country's biggest airport is being constructed in Jewar. All formalities regarding this decision are complete, says PM Modi.

13.10 pm: UP CM Yogi Adityanath at the inauguration event of various development projects in Greater Noida: All the tasks which were impossible for Congress, BSP, & SP, have become possible because Modi is there. Namumkin ko mumkin banane ka naam hi hai 'Modi'
