New Delhi:
The power car of the New Delhi-Rajendranagar Sampoorna Kranti Superfast Express on Saturday derailed near Ghaziabad, moments after it departed from the national capital.
However, no casualties have been reported in the incident so far.
"Power car of Sampoorna Kranti Express derailed near Kotgaon Village in Ghaziabad at around 6.40 pm. Train movement towards Moradabad halted," the news agency ANI reported.
Nearly an hour after the accident, the Patna-bound train, which went off track at Kotgaon area in Ghaziabad, resumed its journey towards Moradabad.
"The tracks have been restored," according to an official.
