New Delhi:
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday announced his party’s support to NDA’s pick Ram Nath Kovind as a candidate for the Presidential post.
While addressing a press conference, Uddhav said BJP president Amit Shah called him and informed about the name of Kovind as the candidate of NDA and sought his party’s support.
He said a meeting was held of Shiv Sena party leaders and they decided to extend their support to Kovind. Earlier, the party was not happy with the BJP central leadership over the name of Kovind.

Shah had met with Thackeray at latter's residence a few days back in this regard.
