New Delhi:
The main exams of Rajasthan Administrative and Allied Services (RAS) 2016 are going to give a kick start from Monday, 27th March 2017 under the conduction of The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). Earlier the exam was postponed for two times.
According to the report, the commission is all set to conduct the examination process in all divisional head-quarters and has directed that no electronic devices are to be used while exam is in process.
The last RAS preliminary Exam was conducted in 2017 out of which RPSC has declared 15,638 candidates eligible for RAS main examinations in 2016. The results of the preliminary was declared within seventeen days which in itself is a record in the history of RPSC.
The examination process will be performed in two different sessions from 9am to 12 noon and 2pm to 5pm respectively. The main exam is conducted in order to fill 750 administrative and allied posts.
The main exams will take place in Ajmer, Jaipur, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Kota, Jodhpur and Udaipur throughout the day in 56 different examination halls.
At first the examination was scheduled on December 26-27 last year and then January 28th and 29th 2017 but could not be held due to the issue of Special Backward Class (SBC) reservation.
Later it was rescheduled on March 27-28 and this time "We are prepared to conduct this exam", RPSC official stated.
