The ailing leader has also been advised by Ramdev to practise safe breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom Pranayama to maintain a good health. He is currently unwell and undergoing treatment at RIMS hospital in Ranchi.
Ramdev called on the former Bihar chief minister at 10 Circular Road residence of his wife Rabri Devi in Patna.
"I met Lalu ji, conveyed my best wishes for the marriage of his son Tej Pratap, congratulated him on getting six-week bail and advised him to regularly practise Yoga to maintain good health," Ramdev told PTI emerging from Rabri's residence.
"I have asked Lalu ji to practise safe breathing exercises like the Anulom Vilom Pranayama. He asked me to arrange for an instructor who could supervise his Yoga practice and correct him wherever it was necessary. I said I would do so," Ramdev added.
The Patanjali chief, however, did not disclose whether he would be attending the wedding of Tej Pratap Yadav on Saturday and merely said, "I have received the invitation."
"I am also holding Yoga classes in Gaya tomorrow," Ramdev stated further.
On a related note, Tej Pratap will tie the knot with Aishwarya Rai on May 12. Aishwarya is the daughter of RJD legislator Chandrika Rai and granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai.
Earlier in the day, the septuagenarian RJD supremo was granted six-week provisional bail by Jharkhand High Court in fodder scam cases on medical ground.
On Thursday, Lalu flew to Patna after being released on a three-day parole to attend his son's marriage. Prasad is currently staying at 10 Circular Road residence.
