New Delhi:

Two terrorists were gunned down by security forces in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian region on Tuesday. As per latest report coming in the incident, search operation are underway.

"Bodies of two terrorists recovered but third one is still alive and is present in a house, he started firing again a few minutes back" says Inspector general of police (Kashmir) Muneer Khan

Earlier on Monday, it was reported that two-three terrorists were trapped in Batmurran village in Shopian, following which soldiers of 44 Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu and Kashmir Police Special Operations Group and 14 battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)  launched joint cordon and search operation.
