New Delhi:
Shiv Sena’s Sachin Sawant, deputy shakha pramukh of Kurar, was shot dead by two unidentified bike-borne assailants in Gokul Nagar area of Mumbai's Kandivali district on late Sunday.
News agency ANI broke the news of Sawant's alleged murder.

As per reports, multiple rounds of bullet were fired at Sawant.
Sawant was then rushed to the Shatabdi Hospital in that area. The hospital authorities, however, declared him brought dead.
The police investigation is underway.
