New Delhi:

Paresh Asom (Baruah), the 'Vice Chairman cum Chief of Staff' of ULFA (Independent) on Friday turned down the offer of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Art of Living founder, for facilitating peace processes if any of the underground groups that wanted to negotiate and join the mainstream. 

ULFA(I) leader Paresh Asom rejected his offer via a letter written to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. 

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had on Thursday expressed his willingness to facilitate the process if any underground group wanted to come back to the mainstream as several youth had already expressed their desire to do so if the government ensured a respectable deal.
