Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Statue of Unity in the Narmada district of Gujarat in the memory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Wednesday on the 143rd birth anniversary of the ‘Iron Man of India’. The fact that is not be missed is that there are 182 seats in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly and the height of 'Statue of Unity' is 182 meters. Now, if that is a coincidence or a well-thought-out plan remains to be seen. Also, as soon as PM Modi inaugurated Sardar Patel's statue, it received the title of the highest statue in the world. Earlier this world record was held by The Giant Buddha of Leshan statue in China.

  2. 1,850-tonne bronze used in the outer structure of the statue
  3. 1,80,000 cubic meter use of concrete and cement used
  4. 6,500 tonne of steel used
  5. Constructed in an area of 22,000 sqmt
  6. The statue is capable of withstanding a 6.5 intensity earthquake
  7. The speed of -180 kilometers per hour will not be damaged by air
  8. Larsen & Toubro given the contract for Rs 2,989 crore
