UP Elections 2017: Yadav family feud continues as Mulayam asks SP workers to file nominations against Congress

New Delhi:

Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav continues to be on war path with his son Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. A day after publicly rejecting the SP-Congress alliance, carefully orchestrated by Akhilesh, Mulayam has now asked party workers to file nominations against Congress leaders in Uttar Pradesh, the reports said.

Mulayam has been disapproving of the mega-alliance between the Congress and Samajwadi Party, so much so that on Saturday he openly declared that he will not campaign for SP and Congress alliance

He claimed that Samajwadi Party can win elections on its own. Incidentally, the statement from senior Yadav came hours after SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress VC Rahul Gandhi addressed first joint press conference and held a road show in Lucknow.
