2016 has been the year of many big achievements for India and its girls. The year gave many reasons to shower love and support to our girls, it was the year when PV Sindhu and Sakshi Malik made India proud in sports category.
Lately an old video is going viral reflecting the sheer spirit of sports strength. The video has our female wrestlers who made India proud, Sakshi Malik and Geeta Phogat.
The highly competitive wrestling match shows Geeta Phogat, India’s first gold medalist in the Commonwealth Games 2010, takes on Rio Olympics 2016 bronze medalist, Sakshi Malik.
The high-profile match between the two wrestlers took place at 2015 Asian Cadet Wrestling Championship in New Delhi.
The video in itself highlights Phogat’s strength and makes us wonder about Malik’s drastic improvements which later led her to win India’s first bronze medal by an Indian women wrestler in the Summer Olympics.
