1 killed in mysterious explosion in Bengaluru's Vyalikaval, forensic team reaches spot

Bengaluru:

A man was killed in a mysterious explosion in Karnataka’s capital city Bengaluru on Sunday. News Nation has learnt that forensic team has reached the spot. Initial probe says that the blast occurred in Vyalikaval area of Bengaluru, which is 700 metres near official residence of Rajarajeshwari constituency Congress MLA Munirathna. The man killed in the blast has been identified as one Venkatesh. Bengaluru Police Commissioner T Suneel Kumar said that the blast occurred at around 9 am near a footpath in the Vyalikaval area. The deceased used to run a temporary shop in the area. He was on his way to the shop when the blast occurred and killed him on the spot. Kumar, however, refused to give any details on the probe and said that it was too early to comment on the nature of the blast.
