Srinagar:
The Border Security Force (BSF) which found a 30-foot tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir has said that apparently a big terrorist attack was being planned through the tunnel. He said ii appears it was made for infiltration.
“It appears that big terrorist attack was being planned after infiltration through this tunnel in near future,†Rakesh Sharma, BSF IG Jammu Frontier said.
He said that an investigation is being carried out into the detection of the tunnel and that the issue has been conveyed to Pakistani rangers. He said that proof and evidence will be provided to the Pakistani side.
“We've conducted detailed investigation of the tunnel that was detected yesterday. We also contacted Pak rangers and brought it to their notice. We will present them proof and evidence. We expect them to initiate investigation and take action, he said.
“We've requested Pak Rangers to come forward for investigation. They said we'll take care and take action,†he added.
