Islamabad:
After Pakistan’s army and Air Force, its Navy has warned India that it was fully capable of thwarting any aggression, according to another Radio Pakistan report.
Pakistan’s naval chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah, while addressing a gathering at Lahore's Naval War College, said that "the Pakistan Navy was fully capable to thwart any aggression and will be equipped with the latest equipment to defend maritime borders of the country".
Earlier on Wednesday, Pakistan’s Air Force chief warned that his forces will respond to any aggression by the “enemy” in a manner that their future generations will also remember it.
Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman emphatically said that Pakistan will give a befitting response to any misadventure by the enemy, Radio Pakistan reported.
Talking to reporters at Qadri airbase in Skardu, he said the country should have zero concern over the “statements of the enemy.”
“Our response to any aggression by the enemy will be such that their future generations will also remember it,” he said according to the report.
The Air Force chief made the remarks after taking part in Air Force exercises and flying a Mirage fighter jet during his visit to Skardu. He also reviewed the exercises and operational preparedness of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

His visit coincided with reports in Pakistani media that the Air Force flew fighter jets near the Siachen Glacier - the world’s highest battleground.
The Indian Air Force in New Delhi denied that the Pakistani fighter jets violated the Indian air space.
Tensions between India and Pakistan have run high since the attack on an Indian army base in Uri in September last year in which 18 Indian soldiers were killed by militants based in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Ten days after the attack India launched “surgical strikes” there to destroy “terrorist launchpads”.

More recently, the Indian Army yesterday announced that it launched “punitive fire assaults” on Pakistani positions across the Line of Control earlier this month, inflicting some damage. The action was taken in response to the beheading of two Indian soldiers in Kashmir by Pakistani special forces.
On Wednesday, the Pakistani Air force chief said the PAF was fully prepared and capable to defend the country’s frontiers.

Pak Army's video shows damaged Indian posts:
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army has released a video purportedly showing heavy damage caused to the Indian military posts across the Line of Control, in a tit-for-tat action after the Indian Army released a clip of the “punitive fire assaults” on Pakistani positions.
Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor in a brief statement with the video, posted on the army’s Facebook page, alleged that India on May 13 had targeted innocent civilians.
“In befitting response, the Pakistan Army destroyed Indian posts in Nowshera Sector,” he said.
The 87-second video purportedly shows heavy-artillery pounding several Indian positions, which were completely destroyed.
The Pakistan Army’s footage was released in an apparent reaction to the Indian Army releasing a video of the military action which showed some structures in a forested area being destroyed.

The Indian Army had on Tuesday said it launched “punitive fire assaults” on Pakistani positions across the LoC, inflicting “some damage”, days after two of its troopers were beheaded.
The Pakistan Army, however, dismissed as “false”, the Indian Army’s assertion of destroying its posts in the Naushera sector.
Sources in the Indian Army said the strike was a message to Pakistan that it will take stronger action with increased frequency against any infiltration attempts from across the border.
The 22-second video released by the Indian Army showed concrete structures being reduced to rubble amid plumes of smoke and balls of fire.
