New Delhi:
The Central Bureau of investigation (CBI) on Tuesday arrested BJP MP Dinu Solanki from the national capital for his alleged involvement in the murder of RTI activist Amit Jethwa.
The CBI had already questioned the BJP MP from Junagarh in July 2010. His nephew Shiva Solanki and 5 others are currently in jail for the same case.
Jethwa’s family claimed that Amit was campaigning against illegal mining in Gir reserves, when the MP hatched the conspiracy to kill him.
Even Gujarat police gave him a clean chit earlier, he was on Tuesday called in CBI headquarters for the questioning by a special team.
