Creating panic among locals, Patna's bomb disposal squad on Tuesday reached Gandhi Maidan after reports that a bomb had been found there.
According to reports, police and bomb disposal squad reached the SK Memorial hall near Gandhi Maidan to defuse the live bomb.
"We have found a suspicious object and we have cordoned off the entire area. Our bomb squad is right here and we have defused the live bomb," said senior police officer Jayant Kant.
Serial blasts rocked Patna on Sunday ahead of BJP prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Hunkar’ rally. The toll in the blasts has risen to six.
