New Delhi:
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be conferred Bharat Ratna on March 27 by President Pranab Mukherjee.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be present at the function to be held at Vajpayee's residence.
The Union government had in December last year announced the prestigious Bharat Ratna for former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and freedom fighter Madan Mohan Malaviya.
Malviya will be conferred Bharat Ratna on March 31.
