The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) is all set to meet on Sunday to discuss Ayodhya title suit case verdict given by the Supreme Court. The matter whether to file a review petition against the Ayodhya verdict or not will also be taken up. Ahead of the meet, AIMPLB on Saturday held a brainstorming session here with different Muslim parties. The parties met All India Muslim Personal Law Board general secretary Maulana Wali Rahmani and apprised him of the Ayodhya issue, Zafaryab Jilani, who is secretary of the board, said.
They said that the Supreme Court decision is “not understandable” and so there is a need to go for a review, Jilani said.
In a unanimous verdict last week, the Supreme Court cleared the way for the construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya and directed the Centre to allot a five-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque.
Soon after the verdict, the AIMPLB had expressing dissatisfaction with it and said the board was contemplating seeking a review of the judgment.
The apex court in a unanimous verdict cleared the way for the construction of a Ram Temple at the disputed site at Ayodhya, and directed the Centre to allot a 5-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque.

Meanwhile, Security arrangements in Ayodhya have been strengthened ahead of the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition on December 6.
Security around Ramjanmabhoomi, which falls in the ‘red zone’ high-security area, has been stepped up and other landmark religious sites around it are also under tight vigil, Ayodhya DM Anuj Jha told news agency PTI. “We had kept a hawk-eye vigil across the temple town and other parts of the district till the verdict, and security will remain intensified till the Babri (Masjid) demolition anniversary,” he said.
“Our next challenge would be to maintain calm, peace and harmony on December 6, though I am positive that people of Ayodhya will display utmost maturity as they are peace-loving,” Jha said.
The Ayodhya security cover has four zones—red zone for the 2.77 acres disputed site, yellow zone for the city, green zone for the district and blue zone for the neighbouring areas of the district.
